Momo Kodama Bio

Momo Kodama’s illustrious career developed through appearances with internationally renowned orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Bavarian State Orchestra, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, the Orchestre national de France, the Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France, the Orchestre philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, the Orchestre de chambre de Paris and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Seiji Ozawa, Eliahu Inbal, Charles Dutoit, Kent Nagano, Roger Norrington, Lawrence Foster, André Prévin and Jukka-Pekka Saraste. She has performed at the Musikverein in Vienna, the Berlin Philharmonie and Konzerthaus Berlin, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Philharmonie de Paris, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ in Amsterdam and Wigmore Hall in London. Momo Kodama is regularly invited to play at renowned festivals: Marlboro, Verbier, Lucerne, La Roque d’Anthéron, the Chopin Festival, the Festival d’Automne, the Festival de Saint-Denis, the Enescu Festival, the Tivoli Festival, Settembre Musica, Schleswig-Holstein, Miyazaki and Matsumoto (Seiji Ozawa). Recently, she was appointed chair of the jury for the prestigious Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in Japan.
