The jury, rules and repertoire of the next Concours Géza Anda have now been published! Our competition will be carried out between 30th May und 8th June 2024 in Zurich and Winterthur. It is open to participants from all countries who are born after 30th May 1992.

Concerts

Conducting from the piano

In September 2022, the Géza Anda-Foundation presented a masterclass held by Mikhail Pletnev, in collaboration with Luzerner Sinfonieorchester. Four talented prizewinners of major international piano competitions learnt how to rehearse a concerto from the Viennese Classical period with the orchestra and lead it from the keyboard, without a conductor.

GÉZA ANDA CENTENARY YEAR 2021

Géza Anda’s 100th birthday was brought to people’s minds with concerts in, amongst others, Budapest and Zurich, with CD and book releases and various other events. Here you can gain insight into the various centenary activities of the Géza Anda-Foundation and its partners.

15th CONCOURS GÉZA ANDA 2021

Surely, the 15th International Piano Competition Concours Géza Anda was the jubilee event with the greatest impact of all our projects. In 2021 it was carried out under difficult conditions but with utmost success. Here you can get to know everything about the contest and its winners.
